HUMAN GROWTH FOUNDATION HOSTS 3RD ANNUAL WALK FOR KIDS GROWTH-LA ON DECEMBER 5TH

Human Growth Foundation (HGF) today announced its 3rd Annual Walk for Kids Growth-LA community event will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015 at Griffith Park, in Los Angeles. The event aims to increase the awareness of growth disorders and the critical importance of early diagnosis and treatment, together with helping raise funds for research, education, patient support and advocacy. 

“This event will provide a great opportunity to engage the entire community and healthcare professionals and educate them on the importance of early diagnosis and treatment," says HGF executive director Patricia Costa. “Walk for Kids Growth-LA is an event for all ages and will feature family families activities.”


Actor Mark Christopher Lawrence (“Chuck”, “Glee”) will serve as the master of ceremony. Walk for Kids Growth Participants will enjoy a 3-mile scenic fun walk, live entertainment, food, and a celebrity meet and greet. Participants will also have the opportunity to get giveaways.

LILLY SPONSORS HUMAN GROWTH FOUNDATION’S 2015 FAMILY DAY


Human Growth Foundation (HGF) today announced that Eli Lilly and Company is the lead sponsor of its HGF Family Day, an event that aims to increase the awareness of growth disorders and the critical importance of early diagnosis and treatment. HGF Family Day will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2015 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida.

Research shows that growth hormone deficiency has been identified in approximately 1 in every 3,800 children. 

HGF Family Day kicks off National Growth Awareness Week and will feature morning workshops, including: how to obtain medical insurance reimbursement, coping with short stature, and the latest developments in growth disorders. HUMAN GROWTH FOUNDATION TO HOST A “FAMILY DAY” DURING NATIONAL GROWTH AWARENESS WEEK

Human Growth Foundation (HGF) today announces that it will host a “family day” dedicated to raising awareness of growth disorders and the importance of early diagnosis and treatment. HGF Family Day will celebrate National Growth Awareness Week by providing a special day of education and empowerment for families impacted by various forms of growth disorders and growth hormone deficiency.
HGF Family Day will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2015 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at SeaWorld, in Orlando, Florida.
“Our mission is to not only educate and empower families impacted by growth disorders,” says HGF executive director Patricia Costa. “It is also important for us to continue providing resources to health care professionals about the importance of a child’s growth as a key indicator of their overall health.”
HGF Family Day will feature morning workshops, including: the latest developments of growth disorders, coping with short stature, and how to obtain medical insurance reimbursement for the treatment of growth disorders and growth hormone deficiency. Following the workshops, families will have lunch and participate in Sea World Park activities.
All families impacted by growth disorders and growth hormone deficiency are encouraged to attend. Event tickets include a Family Pack of Five for $50 and individual tickets at $15.
